Car Alarm Sounds
A car alarm is a device that is installed in an automobile to discourage theft of the
automobile and anything of value that may be in the automobile such as a stereo system, a GPS navigation system, a
custom telephone system, etc. The thief does not always want the automobile and would prefer anything saleable
within that automobile.
Car alarm systems are armed with an alarming sound that is not only high in volume but also high pitched. At
least the most common car alarms sound that way. The high pitched car alarm systems are often also combined with
lights flashing. In addition to this high pitched alarm sound there is also: the siren that sounds like a police
siren; The verbal warning alarm system that warns the thieves that the alarm has been activated. If the thieves are
not deterred the alarm will let everyone in the vicinity know verbal that it is being broken into; the automobile’s
own horn is another alarm sound; and a klaxon. Each of these sounds can be used alone or in combination one with
the other.
Having mentioned the sound of a Klaxon needs some explanation. The Klaxon is an alerting device that is
electomechanical. It was first used in American automobiles as the horn on the automobile. It has a sound that is
something like “Ah-WOOGA.” The Klaxon device was also used on trains and on fog horns. It has since been replaced
by alarms that are solid state.
Car alarms come with many sounds but there is one car alarm that emits five sounds in one
alarm This alarm system does not use just one piercing alarm sound it uses five different ear splitting alarm sound
that rotate. Each sound is different and they follow one another. This system is hard to ignore because it sounds
differently each time is starts up. It may give some people the idea that there is more than one automobile
involved in the theft. It is also confusing and frightening to anyone tampering with the automobile. His alarm is
known as the “five sound effects” car alarm system.
Some things are stranger than fiction and the mocking bird is certainly a strange but beautiful creature. We all
know that the mocking bird was so named because it can “mock” or mimic just about any sound it hears. In one
incident the little bird kept people in a community in somewhat of a tizzy as it mimicked a car alarm. For a long
time the residents of this community tried to find the car that was sounding its alarm but could not find it, until
one day one of the residents found the culprit, a mocking bird.
If you do not have a car alarm in your present car, or if you are planning on having one installed, you should
look to see what options you have in the way of car alarm sounds. You may be surprised at the variety of sounds you
will have to choose from.
