Name: Python 991 Responder LC3 SST Security/Remote Start System
Rating:
Description :
Featuring One Mile Range with SST, Python's third-generation liquid-crystal display remote control is the slimmest
displays remote available. Remote notifies of security intrusions with tones, vibration, text and icon display
Advantages:
- The range is fantastic
- All in all would recommend this remote start/security from Python however if they could only improve the
quality of the remote construction I would be a lifetime buyer of future products by Python (DEI).
- They have a 1% failure rate out of about 1000 installs. That’s really good for anything electronic in a
vehicle. and the fact that you can charge the remote is the best feature
- Has to be the absolute best on the market.
Disadvantages:
- It does not come with any installation instructions at all.
- The quick reference guide refers to the Directed Electronics website for an installation guide, but if you
are not a dealer or registered installer this does not work.
- Their website itself will not allow you to open any of the menus unless you have a number given...

Name:
Bulldog Keyless Entry System

Rating:
Description :
Bulldog Keyless Entry System with starter disable, includes two 4-button remote
transmitters.
Advantages:
- The unit performs perfectly in this capacity. Range is at least 25-30 feet, even without the antenna wire
installed in a straight line as they suggest.
- The remotes seem to be high quality: the buttons are soft but firm rubber, and the case has a rubberized
feel and a tiny LED that lights up to confirm a button press.
- Anyone attempting to install a device like this should have a decent knowledge of basic electronics,
including the 12v vehicle electrical system as well as how to properly splice wires and use a multi meter or
other voltage measuring tool (a simple test light will suffice).
- It's also important to be somewhat familiar with your vehicle's interior, knowing how to take off door
and/or dash panels. Keeping that in mind, the instructions provided were quite adequate. The URL they gave for
more vehicle-specific info was somewhat helpful, but their suggestions were a bit vague and (in my opinion) not
optimal. A repair manual of some sort can also be handy here (my Haynes Manual has been quite helpful).
- It’s exactly what I was looking for. For 40 bucks, I'd buy it again and I'd recommend it to others. Just
remember that when doing anything you, research is your friend. You can never consult too many manuals, web
resources, etc. and the more you know before starting, the fewer headaches you'll encounter later in the
process.
Disadvantages:
- It was misleading and we blew a fuse.
- The buttons work only when the door is open.
- Have already spent several hours messing with this product.
- "No phone support" from Bull dog security.
Name: Install Essentials 508D Radar Field Disturbance Sensor
Rating:
Description :
uses radar to detect movement inside or just outside your vehicle, independently adjustable zones.
The turning mechanisms are not that wide so you have to try again & again to find the sensitivity you
want.
Name:Auto Theft Deterrent Light
Rating:
Description :
This device can protect your vehicle from potential thieves. The bright flashing LED lights
simulate the lights used in expensive car alarm systems. Causes thieves to pass by your car in search of an
easier target. No installation required- wireless. Includes two alarm warning decals. Measurements are 3" x 1" x
3/4" (at the tallest point). Requires 2 AAA not included.
Advantages:
I love this product! It is my second one, I sold my other car and the buyers wanted to keep it, so I ordered this
one.
So easy to use.
So easy to use. Just put in the batteries and place it where you want in the car. That's it. It really shows up at
night
At night, this phony alarm looks very convincing.
I highly recommend that you get both for a vehicle that has no alarm. It'd probably be more realistic not to
place this device in absolute plain sight.
Disadvantages:
- This small light is excellent, the two flashing LEDs are plenty bright at night.
- the use of rechargeable AAA's and the batteries easily last for many weeks of continuous use.
- it also comes with stickers warning of an auto alarm. The only complaint is the stickers have faded in the
sunlight so don't look as conspicuous as they originally did.
- This device does indeed look like a car alarm.
- Works great, when weather/car get hot the sticky stuff used to hold on melts and it falls off.
Name: Install Essentials 507M Tilt Sensor
Rating:
Description :
monitors the tilt of your parked car, Two independently adjustable triggers (light "prewar" chirp for slight angle
change and full-blast alarm for significant angle change)
Advantages:
- This sensor was very simple to install.
- The color coded wires make this fool-proof.
Disadvantages:
- They are not sure if the tilt sensor would be to perform its description
- One of the problem was to put in a toggle switch to bypass when I park at work. Something would trigger the
sensor about 30 seconds after arming the alarm. The toggle fixed the problem
