Car alarms, once seen as a necessity are today controversial. Some people still feel a certain security when their car alarm is set, but others feel that car alarms, when sounded, are generally ignored. The keyless entry alarm system works on a radio frequency of short range for its identification. If your car and the short range frequency system are compatible, than your car lock will open. The fob used to hold the keyless operation contains a battery and that battery either has to be recharged or replaced about every year or two and that depends on how it’s used. The fob is a match to your car as if it was the actual key and will only work on your car for which it has been coded. Keyless entry systems are also being used on garage doors, outdoor utility storage doors and other places a thief might enter.

If your does not now have a car alarm system, or you are not pleased with the car alarm system your car does have, then consider having a keyless entry alarm system installed. If you are a do-it-yourselfer than you can by the keyless alarm system at any store that sells auto supplies. If you are not daring enough to try it on your own than have a professional car alarm installer do it for you.
